The Notice of Picnic on the Toronto Central Island on Thursday, August 11, 2005

Dear CSC Visiting Scholars,
You are warmly invited to participate in the Central Island Picnic on Thursday, August 11, 2005. The details are as follows:
I. The application starts from 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 25 to 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 29. Any early or late application will be either omitted or ignored.
II. Please write “ Central Island Picnic” in the Topic line of your email. Your name should be written in Chinese for convenience. The name of your university here is also required. Please fill in the application form in the attachment. Also fill in the names of your spouse and child if they want to attend the picnic.
III. All applications are emailed to the Education Office before 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 29.
IV. Only those scholars registered in the Education Office with valid medical insurance covering the 11th day of August are allowed to enjoy the opportunity.
V. All none- CSC scholars, spouses and children are welcome. But they each will pay for the picnic as follows: Adult: 10 Canadian dollars child: 5 Canadian dollars
VI. As for the scholars beyond Toronto, the transportation and accommodations are at your own expense.
VII. All participants must have valid medical insurance on August 11. Those who have no valid medical insurance will be omitted from the final name list. Please copy your new insurance form and write the expiry date and your Chinese name in the margin for recognition before faxing it to the Education. And all scholars must be responsible for the safety and physical conditions of your spouses and children on that day.
VIII. The participants are strictly limited on the picnic area. First come, first served. Think before your applying.
IX. As for the final name list, your group leaders, gathering location and the like, please visit our CVST website, starting from Monday, August 1. The website is： www.cvst.homestead.com
